Episode 7 - It was perfect and up there with DS9's Trials and Tribble-ations as a great crossover/love letter to the show. Live-action Boimler and Mariner were ridiculous & the chaos they brought to the lives of the Enterprise crew was hilarious. Boimler being completely disconcerted and freaked out by jovial, smiley, "I'm getting laid on the reg" Hot Spock had me cackling.

Jonathan Frakes never disappoints.

Episode 8 - I appreciate that like DS9, this show is willing to grapple with the moralities of war. This one wasn't quite on the level of Bajorans being forced to interact with Cardassians but it was really solid nonetheless.

Jack Quaid was really good at doing all the actions cartoon Boimler does like all the hand waving and the power walking and the Boimler screams.

I loved the cross over episode it's definitely in my top 10.

And I loved the implication lower decks is 2d due to the fumes from Mariner's alcohol stashes.

NGL, I was skeptical of the crossover episode when it was announced because like HOW do you translate the zaniness of Lower Decks onto the live action Strange New Worlds?

But Holy Shit! They did the thing! It was AMAZING. Jack Quaid NAILED all of animated!Boimler's mannerisms.

Can't wait to watch 2x08 when I'm off work today.

Also... so sad that season 2 is coming to an end and with the writers and actors strike who knows when season 3 will happen. :(

i'm finally caught up. i was flipping out with mariner's live action appearance. i love tawny newsome so much. (low key sad space force was canceled.)

i love this show so much and this episode was fantastic.
