Shownu and Hyungwon of MONSTA X make their debut as the group's first subunit today with "Love Me a Little," the title track off their mini album THE UNSEEN.

The track, written and produced by Hyungwon, marks Shownu's first release since completing his mandatory military enlistment in April.

i know that they supported blm, but i'm not super versed in their pre-2020 activities because that's when i got into them and their earlier music wasn't my cup of tea. preparing myself for disappointment in the comments lol.

He enlisted yesterday. 😭 At least we have a couple more episodes of him on MonMukGo? Plus he’ll have a vlog he recorded prior to enlisting.

Chances are all the remaining members might enlist this year in order for them to be back for their 10 year anniversary in 2025.

I really like this one but then Hyungwon has proven to be my favorite producer for MX. I’m just happy to be able to both hear new songs with Shownu on them and see him dance/perform. Since watching the video I’ve had Nunu’s “love me a little, love me a little more” stuck in my head.

Haven’t had a chance to listen to the mini though and I avoided the preview on purpose.

Also, they look hot. Shownu always looks hot to me though but Hyungwon looks great too. Basically I love them.

Same for me about producer Hyungwon. I think he’s got a great ear for it and has a knack for understanding who goes where in a song. I know he’ll probably be enlisting soon but I hope he gets a chance to write/produce for IVE/Cravity like he says he wants to before he has to go in.

the video delivered what i wanted based on the previous (vaguely sinister/creepy hotness) and i definitely enjoyed the song, and feel like i'll catch more things the more i listen to it.

hyungwon has to be my favorite member when it comes to producing/writing songs. he always has layers and little flourishes that keep his songs interesting on repeat
