I know it’s for money but I love when artists tour a lot giving fans a chance to see them live, I’m not a concert person but it seems to bring such joy to so many people

" I love when artists tour a lot giving fans a chance to see them live"

i was just randomly remembering the other day a thing one republic did during one tour, that also lasted a few years. Basically, during a gig in Graz, Austria, they asked how many people came from Slovenia and a pretty big amount of people cheered from the crowd so Ryan said "Okay, next time we're coming to Slovenia." and they actually did it, during the same tour they added another European leg and Slovenia was on it.

One of my big gig regrets was not going to see one republic when my now-husband did. It was years ago when they still had a relatively small following in our country, and it was in a pretty small venue. I didn't go because I was a lil bit more socially anxious back then but apparently it was amazing.

My other one was Muse. I was visiting a friend living in Spain the week they were playing in Madrid. I could afford one ticket, but my friend couldn't and I couldn't afford two so we didn't go.

Probably don't have spare cash for either of their shows these days lol.

aw
while i am looking forward to not seeing this on my fyp anymore, it has been lovely to see the positive atmosphere at his gigs. Especially for young women and girls, it looks like a good vibe for them

The atmosphere at his concert when I went was honestly one of the best things I’ve seen in my life, everyone was so happy and kind 🥲

This tour went on forever.

I heard rumors Taylors tour might continue through 2025, she may do another American leg which if she does would be a long tour.

ANOTHER American leg???

I mean, it's basically printing money at this point for her so I wouldn't be surprised but lord

then again if this is true maybe she's given up that foolish dream of making a movie in which case I support it

man I think my favorite part of 2023 was that brief moment when it felt like a possibility Ed Sheeran would retire from music forever

Really? It’s been two years? Isn’t his album less old than that? Also has Covid been “gone” for
Two years? How can someone be on tour for two years, ? Is it the same material every show? Idk idgi

This tour was basically a double album tour with two US and Europe legs. He originally scheduled a 90-100 date arena tour to support his second album that would have taken place from spring 2020 and into early 2021 but covid obviously pushed that. He’d rescheduled the Europe and US legs for 2021 and when the US dates came around the US was basically open again so they toured the original US leg with some added dates in fall 2021 which was just the second album.

He released the new album in May and then rescheduled the rest of the original tour with a bunch of upgrades to stadiums. They added the North America residency dates which was the second US leg. And then they added a full Europe stadium run to end it. The set list varied but all the final legs were a mix of the second and third album.

Covid pushed the original plans a lot but his demand also blew up massively which led to it being a much much larger tour then originally planned
