I hated when PR/the judges decided that each designer needed a girl ("Who's your girl?") and every outfit needed a backstory. Nothing will ever beat Angela telling her story about the British headmistress of Jubilee Jumbles art camp in Paris throwing a birthday party for her dog Pattycake and then Robert doing his talking head interview with "I have this thing about stories. I hate them. I think they're stupid."
I totally get that there will be times when your design or your entire collection will be inspired by something specific and that's totally fine. But I don't need to hear the story about it. And if no one gets your design until you explain the inspiration and backstory, then you didn't do a good job incorporating it into your work (although I feel I should add that your inspiration doesn't need to be a literal translation - like it can be inspired by your mom without having your mom's photo plastered all over as a print).

Fabio forgot the #1 piece of advice to the designers: "Don't bore Nina."
I don't think that what he made the last few weeks was awful but she definitely found it boring.
I think he got eliminated this week not because this week's design was terrible but because this was his third week in a row being in the bottom which was a bit unfair since that was a result of being considered boring.
When comparing Fabio and Korto this week, I thought Fabio should have stayed because just removing the flowery piece of fabric over the stomach made the judges like his outfit. But there was nothing Korto could have done to her design to make the judges like it. As they pointed out, the only good part of her outfit was the skirt, but the print was doing all the work. Her bra top was ill fitting, unflattering, not well constructed, and unattractive. Paulina's description of it as her granny's ugly napkins was pretty accurate. I generally like Korto's designs but what she sent down the runway this week was pretty bad.

She was one of my faves in S1! I liked what she made but I preferred what Rami made this week because it looked more versatile/wearable. Kara's was a good representation of the assignment but I felt it was more limited in where it could be worn. Rami also fulfilled the undergarment assignment but he made it less "I AM WEARING VISIBLE UNDERWEAR" which is why I liked it.
