I want to see They Cloned Tyrone but it's not at any close theaters. And I'm not going to drive 2 hours, so i guess I'll watch on netflix.

Venture Bros! I didn’t realize it was coming out already! Fuck AT&T for scrapping this amazing show after they bought out turner. The live streams were also some of the most talented original creative people I’ve seen and they didn’t deserve to get shitcanned like that.

I’m glad VB gets the ending they deserve, it was such an iconic show

The Venture Bros journey at the end has been so sad. Cancelled under the ATT regime, being constantly worried that the finale movie would get shitcanned by Zaslav, and then Doc and Jackson can't have a final hurrah at SDCC because they're not going to cross the picket line. I'm glad they're supporting their union. I just also understand the heartbreak in not having that final goodbye with fans after all the corporate fuckery.

It'll be real bittersweet watching that movie.

I saw that people who had preordered the movie via some eBay seller ended up getting their copy mailed early!

Yeah :( one of the things that was always so special about the show was that you could feel the creators’ passion for it all throughout, even if you didn’t follow them outside of the show. It was a labor of love that was rarely of ever rewarded and they got totally screwed in the end. I’m glad they managed this though - it wouldn’t feel right not having a proper send off, especially after all the times they almost didn’t get one before.

And oh the livestreams I was referring to were just the adult swim streams that featured a lot of the creatives and AS staff doing shows/interviews with celebs/creators, etc. for literally 8 hours a day and it was beautiful how much creative freedom they had. They were canceled and most of the people fired when att took over, that’s how I found out they shitcanned the venture bros too, they went full scorched earth and told everyone what was up with AT&T

What's up with the Metalocalypse movie anyways? I remember it got announced the same time as VB's.

Cobweb looks great. Lizzy is wonderful in horror.

Not sure about They Cloned Tyrone, I like the premise a lot but the trailer was iffy. Sorry to Bother You and Attack the Block vibes at points but idk what to expect from the writers of Space Jam: A New Legacy (which I did not see).
