I love how silly and fun this show is! Travis and his ridiculous attempts at old timey movie talk made me laugh.
As soon as the adopted sister was introduced in the first episode, I wondered if her twist would be that she's secretly been in love with Edgar or if she wanted him out of the picture so she would inherit everything.
I actually thought she might be in love with Grace! What I thought was interesting is that other than constantly mentioning she’s adopted, one of the articles that flashes on the screen identifies Edgar as his dad’s only biological son (I think)! I wonder if Edgar is actually the one that regularly brings it up and she’s bitter about it.
I had the thought that the constant adoption mentions are to keep her as a potential lover/secret GF of the dead guy (didn't watch the most recent ep yet)
episode 2 - the dance moves "unwed lady," "the boy solider", "teach you how to douglas"...I had to rewind. ep 3 was dry, but I'm not a fan of the noir genre.

ep 3 was dry, but I'm not a fan of the noir genre.
