My brother is a big pothead and he fell asleep soooo 😂 He, my husband, and I watched it in our upstairs loft area, which has no windows, on a big-ass projector screen, and we all hated it lolll. I’m like if we didn’t like it in that viewing scenario, we’re not gonna like it no matter what

I don't understand any horror movie that revolves around torture porn, which is aimed at torturing women 99% of the time. No real plot, just torture. I wish the directors would just come out and say 'Yeah I hate all women but killing them is super illegal and I won't do well in prison so I just live out my desire in film'

So basically I will never date a man who enjoys watching something like Terrifier. Even as a young teenager at a certain point I told my dad I wanted to stop watching Criminal Minds because it was just a relentless torture porn fest. A lot of forensic shows are to a certain extent, but Criminal minds was a little ~extra~. Victims were frequently not dead yet, actively being tortured and it was just shit.

Anyway so we just watched stuff like CSI/Midsomer Murders where it's mostly a equal balance of everyone fucking getting it for a variety of reasons usually just related to being a shit person in general.

Yes he left because he didn't expect that the show would take such an extreme dive. And this all happened around season 3! That's really quick. I don't know if he is a good person in general but I do respect the fact that he noticed an issue, found it really uncomfortable and decided to leave because it was not good for his mental health. In mean this was back in 2007, doesn't seem like that long ago but things were incredibly different back then so it's nice to see he noticed that issue.

I have no idea about this specific guy but I’m not going to make assumptions about someone just because of what they wrote. Rob Zombie writes horrific stuff and he’s a vegan who takes in goats.

They're right about Terrifier, trash film with a trash writer/director. I don't get the hype for that "film" Lake Mungo was boring up until the very end. So mad @ myself for sitting through that. Loved VVitch. Agree about the ending to Drag Me to Hell. Fuck Kubrick's The Shining.

Controversial opinion, I will never understand the love for Halloween, the movies. They're SO boring. And this is coming from someone who loves slow burns. Yet, I liked H2O, which apparently is the worse one lol. The theme song is fun though.

H20 isn’t considered the worst one. It’s actually a decent entry. The 6th is considered trash and I have a soft spot for it. There are 2 slightly different versions too. Halloween Resurrection is considered the worst one.

Oh, I was always laughed at for liking it because I was told it was the worst, which confused me. So that's good! I do too, but I'm a Paul Rudd fan, so that helped heh. That one I have not seen yet! But I did hear it was just bad.

H20 basically gets mixed reviews. I don’t think I’ve heard even one person say it’s the worst of the bunch. Halloween Resurrection basically throws out all logic and sense and doesn’t really feel like a Halloween movie. I still kinda like it for being complete trash though lol.
