Zoe Kazan had been protesting with the WGA. And tweeting about it. She's taken a break from Twitter and social media in general for quite a while but she's back and on the picket lines.✊🏻
It'd also be interesting to know if there are any actors that are currently picketing/posting about the strike but that have been caught crossing other picket lines in the past - very solidarity for me but not for thee types. I bet there are a few. I still think about all the celebs that crossed Chateau Marmont picket line: https://ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com/123038402.html
And I know Liz Hurley was fined back in like 2000 for crossing a picket line regarding striking TV commercial actors. SAG actually banned a whole bunch of actors during that time for crossing picket lines.
Or a look back at the previous writer's strike and how it compares/differs from today. I still think about how well Conan handled it.
oh reminds me, i wanted to ask what is the membership requirements, is it residency or citizenship. what about eg british actor who doesn't live in usa but has a work visa for the usa must be a member of the national union, or what happens when an american works on a film in canada, or uk, o they have to be a member of a canadian union, equity? etc.
I wonder if it might vary by production (maybe a new agreement?). Canadian actor Michael Shanks (Daniel Jackson from Stargate: SG-1) was in an episode of CSI: Miami in 2005. Just a few years later they wanted him to be in a CSI episode, but he said he should join SAG. He didn't want to join just for one episode of a TV show. Unless it was an U.S. citizenship thing, I can't recall.

The Skarsgårds don't have insta aside from Gustaf and none of them live in the U.S, so including them in your data is flawed.

Unions have agreements for this sort of thing so as long as you belong to one union the other union will sort of grandfather you in.
ACTRA (the Canadian union) calls them reciprocal agreements and they have them with SAG and Equity.
