That was an unnecessary remake. It was a flop then, it's a flop now.

Pretty much all of the panels I'm going to are animation/concept art. It actually feels like a relief I'll have at least one SDCC where I can evenly split my focus on panels/pop-ups/outside activities

I'm going to be sad if this SDCC, where the movies are basically not taking the focus for the first time in forever, I get even less comic book news than normal.

It's great. You probably keep hearing about it because a lot of people like it and there's not a big barrier to entry (it's free to stream). James Marsden describes it as a combination of The Truman Show and The Office, which I think is apt. The premise is that one guy that doesn't know the court cases is fake and the rest are actors. I'm sure the show isn't for everyone but I think it's a triumph. They picked a great rando to build the show around, the supporting cast is wonderful, and the final episode (where you see how they did the whole production) is really great. There's no need to feel bad that they tricked a guy, either, because he handled it well and was rewarded nicely

It's fun! 60% of the show is making fun of James Marsden

Orphan Black has a spinoff!? I'm kinda surprised because it felt like a lot of people stopped caring about that show near the end.

there was supposed to be a comic with Cosima and Delphine, but after one issue, it was canceled. I couldn't even get the one issue anywhere. there is a audiobook thing as well with Tatiana, but I haven't had a chance to listen to it.
