Actor leaving their shows for what they thing is their big creative break is a tale as old as time, and many are now forgotten as a result. It's an interesting choice but how often does it really pay off?

Totally but even Shelly Long spent 5 seasons on Cheers which was a huge show before leaving.

And Farrah was huge before leaving s1 of CA.
