I would've preferred Gothenburg bc it's nicer, but Malmö is fine, I guess

Yay!

I’m still bopping to Tattoo, so good. I’m so annoyed at people downplaying her win by saying Sweden rigged it for ABBA who literally announced days after the final that they’re not performing next year. Guess Sweden should have consulted them first before they rigged it 🙄🙄

I don't like Tattoo personally but it's a quality song and Cha Cha Cha was never going to get jury votes (even if he did do well in jury at UMK). It clearly wasn't rigged haha. A bummer Abba said no though!

Exactly. I liked Cha Cha Cha but ngl the obnoxious response to her win, acting like she couldn’t have possibly won on her own merits, has turned me off the song lol. I’ve disliked and been annoyed at winning songs before but I never said the result was rigged. Like, people calling for abolishing the jury are out of their minds.

Yeah! It would have been fun if ABBA performed. It’s too bad.

The Finnish delegation really should've worked on improving Käärijä's vocals if they wanted more jury points imo. The Eurovision staging had him running around so much in the first half of the performance that everything from the genre switch onward just did not sound good. Unfortunately it was especially noticeable in the jury show performance so it's not surprising some juries punished him for it

I don't think this song required any vocal fireworks, but juries tend to reward performances that look and sound polished and professional so these vocals really did not help when the song was already so polarising

Can you buy tickets to the final? I’ve always wanted to go just for fun, I’ve never been to Sweden and would love to visit.

We don’t deserve it tbh, but I got dual passports and I’m always just Brazilian in Europe. I just really loved English that I learned it so well you know.
