Nancy and the Drew Crew work together to identify a creature. Meanwhile, Bess reaches out to Carson after receiving a cease-and-desist letter. Lastly, Tristan ends up stealing Nancy's thunder during Career Day at the high school.

Didn't love this episode. It didn't tie into the main plot very much and felt more like filler. I literally got kind of secondhand embarrassment that the B-plot was Nick/Ace chasing a ferret. I'm glad they connected it to Ace wanting to help Nancy, but...

And yes, the lobster guy is hot, and I know we need ~drama and ~angst and ~yearning, but there are only so many episodes left, I don't want this show to wait until the last minute to get Nancy/Ace back together. And I say that as someone who has conflicting feelings about the pairing since it's not canon (unless they make Ace's real name Ned...).

Overall it was fine and I wouldn't have minded it in an earlier season but at this point I want every episode to count.
