I mean twitter also led the rise of right wing politics. I think him not being able to run twitter is mostly because he's just that inept and stupid. I know some people can't understand how someone who's a "successful businessman" can be so bad at it, but you don't see that it's everyone else actually carrying these companies.

I remember her saying some weird conspiracy theory stuff in the past, but here I think she might be onto something. I think Musk is mostly just an incompetent idiot who can't actually manage a business, but there's no way he isn't paid and influenced by right-wing politicians to do certain things.

I would say that among other things. So what's going on, what's coming up. Elections, yes. The France situation which probably looks terrible globally, would absolutely impact tourism/peoples perception of France. Changing Affirmative Action brought attention to Legacy Admissions-and we all know the moment attention is put onto the rich, they absolutely HAAAAAAVE to divert it. AT ALL COSTS the rich will do ANYTHING to divert and throw the attention onto anything else that they can. Usually it's rights that effect us regular folk. Hell, I'll put my tinfoil hat on a little bit. Why did the news cover that OceanGate tuna can RELENTELESSLY for DAYS? Probably to be sure that no one payed much attention to the refugee ship so no one sees any human rights issues or calls for support

my media professor would always say that when a news media outlet would be too focused on just one specific news, that something might have been happening in the background. She always pointed out that if you go check democracynow their news would be absolutely different than what other outlets were reporting on.

It's not my intention to come at you or try to make you feel bad, just wanted to bring it up because when I saw the phrase "is a nipples protruding very very disrespectful whore who will take money in all ways possible" it reminded me of some difficult moments I've been through and seen firsthand that didn't deal with me specifically. This kind of speech doesn't hurt men in the slightest but historically and still today the word/phrasing is used to disparage women pretty specifically so I wanted to bring it up for that reason too
