Grazia Italia published an open letter to Heard supported by over 130 associations against gender violence. Heard saw it and thanked them in a video clip alongside Luca Calvani.

Heard has also made two instagram posts (with comments limited) to thank people for support at the Taormina Film Festival.

I can't lie though, I'm a bit annoyed at seeing some people backtracking on social media now after showing their entire arse when the domestic violence debates were in full-swing. I guess it's better than just outright ignoring the issue and pretending it's old news or a 'one-off' that won't happen again. But still, annoying.

Still better than those who still act like Depp is the victim. I've seen a few True Crimes youtube channel triple down on mocking her when all those blocked documents made public. There's something so deeply unhinged to see all those facts and still twist it in a way to insist that she's lying and that's why those evidence were blocked. How privileged it must feel to have never suffered systemic injustices...

It's sort of mad how many people are convinced the case proved that Depp was the victim when AT MOST all that was proved was the jurors think she lied. Nothing about her abusing him at all.

That and it's like... how are you gonna ignore all those completely disgusting vile texts he sent to Paul Bettany??? And to act like it's normal to "vent" that way when angry?

I get saying offhand comments about how you wish so-and-so were dead but they had some very graphic details about what they wanted done to her.

So much of the peripheral reactions came off like misplaced high-school-Mean-Girls grudges.
