Why is it so good at the very end????!?!!?! They should’ve done the 50’s from the jump, especially cause this last season feels like it’s the first season of a completely different show. I absolutely adore Reggie and Archie’s friendship this season, and I keep wanting them to make out lol.

this season is pretty fun, at least if you look at it as it's own thing. a lot of overinvested fans feel frustrated due to how some of the ship or character stories from the past seasons are kind of moot this season due to the memory loss and reset, but if you can overlook that, then it's fun. i get why some people feel like this season is a 'waste' of sorts, but i think it's been refreshing, even if i think they've wasted some good chances at nostalgia

i need to! i always stop in s4 when cmm is launching himself into spade in a homemade rocket lmao. but i need to finally push through and get past it. i imagine a lot of the old ships are done bc of the actors and dating/breaking up making it awkward?

honestly not sure how much the cole/lili break up affected the outcome of the ships since they had the cheating happen before they broke up irl. i think they were always going to explore betty/archie but maybe not to the extent they ended up doing it had cole/lili not broken up. they've had to act together and do kissing scenes since, but doing that every once in a while is different than constantly
