Same. Too many stories, like what spacey and Weinstein had.

I don't know...but I will say, I've heard rumors come out about people like Weinstein and Spacey and Bryan Singer on here YEARS before those things were confirmed in the mainstream.

Jenkins also wanted to find out Enty's real identity but he argued successfully that he has a First Amendment right to anonymity

That sounds like it violates her right to defend herself from the harmful claims, but I don't really know about law. It just seems odd that someone can make wild harmful public accusations and still be protected

I'm curious to learn more about this too esp as a comment above says a reddit post exposed who it is, and they got it delisted from the google search results, and taken down by reddit. At what point does a person's (or is it specifically, a "journalist"'s) right to anonymity end and another's right to speech (or reporting) begin? Like it is specifically that the anonymity is due in that the court has no right to expose the identity publicly? Why wouldn't someone on reddit have the right to share that info? You're exposing something seemingly of public interest of a person who has decided to voluntarily, and for profit take on a public-facing career. You're not exposing the identity of a random person just minding their business living a private life, nor are you exposing their private information like address or phone number. How is Enty then defending their own "reporting" as protected speech while simultaneously arguing (not only in court but to reddit and google) that they deserve privacy in order to avoid harassment ( ... )

Yeah, I can understand keeping the identity from the general public, but not from the people involved/affected.
