This reminds me, did we ever have a post about Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union going 50/50 on everything? That's insanity to me when he makes so much more than her.

Pretty sure he clarified that they split 50/50 on the house and the kiddo they share. Everything else is their individual responsibility (ie, his child support and the like). I can totally understand why she wanted to split it considering what he said during their argument and her constantly feeling financially insecure.

echoing the sentiments on this being smart and fair. my mom waited even longer to introduce me to new partners - at least a year. and then i can count on one hand the number of times her longterm partners slept over. that was her stance throughout my adolescence because she had mine and my brother's safety front of mind.
