I mentioned it in the FFA a few days ago, but I only found out about the shooting (and my sister being there) because my sister posted on her IG story day of that she was safe/all right.

I managed to finally reach out to her and check in on her on Monday and she told me it was too “close call” for her, because the shooting occurred in the campsite area/location where she and her roommate were camping. My sister was thankfully at a stage when it happened, and she contemplated heading back at the time the shooting occurred because it was too cold and windy, but she decided, “Nah, I’m just gonna rough it out with the wind”
