Felt like the entire kpop industry went to see Bruno.

The ticket controversy confused me though. Isn’t that like… par for the course? Celebs get tickets to concerts via their industry connections?

I think Koreans being upset is twofold: First, they are so over celebs getting perceived special treatment when it comes to military enlistment and criminal charges that they overreact about things that are completely normal like concert tickets or sponsored clothes. Secondly, when non-Korean acts come to Korea, they usually only hold one concert so tickets are extremely difficult to get ahold of. It's not like when BTS was at Sofi and all the celebs came out.

I'm not a Bruno fan, but i thought it was cute all the celebs came to support him. Some bought their tickets, some were gifted them. I don't see the big deal, but i'm also not Korean so feel free to chime in anyone who has more insight on the issue.

I think it’s cause some seats area are completely blocked by a wall so they can’t see the stage at all , while all the celebs got front rows seats.

Idk it's normal for them to get tickets, but not SO many of them for 1 popular show in 1 section.

ETA: I assume Hyundai card also normally does the same, but normally not so many celebs take on the offer, so it's not so visible... Or they would have their accountant/lawyer/doctor/cleaner go with the free tickets. But this time it was a lot of them actually attending themselves, so it's more visible.

sooyoung's posts were so funny with the added context that her boyfriend was likely the one taking the pics and video of her crying over bruno mars that she posted on her IG/stories lmfao

him posting the pic of his ticket with his food was so hilarious because fans made a meme about it right after they found out he went and then literally an hour later he posted the photo hahah
