I nearly got my phone and wallet stolen in Barcelona one time. The woman was literally holding it in her hand but I had it tied to my belt (friends were making fun of me beforehand and now look at me!). I didn’t feel her reaching into my front pockets at all! It was like in a movie where you always wonder „how do these people don’t not notice!“

My cousin was victim of credit card theft visiting the US. There was a 3k charge from the west coast (she was on the East coast) but no wonder with your waiters storming off with your credit card at a restaurant. Ridiculous!

My BFs dad got robbed after taking out money at the ATM recently. The week before he was followed by a car and chased into a shopping mall car park and got his phone and wallet stolen.

Omg one time we were parking our car on the street in Berlin and when we returned to take off, someone knocked on our car door and asked us if we saw anything cuz apparently someone broke into the car literally right in front of ours and stole everything out of their trunk!

That almost happened to me once!

I sat on the porch/steps near the gates of my sister’s apartment at around 2 am, my car was parked in the parking lot just a few spots down from me.

As I was waiting for my sister to let me in, some guy literally moseyed up to my car and tried to open it before he finally saw me and he walked off the lot before he could try with other cars there. I saw him trying again with other cars down the street 😭
