Please don’t come for me for what I’m about to say.

Anime is the only genre that can have a million and a half reboots where nothing in the storylines have changed or been added
( excluding the horrible 90s dub that shaped my childhood) and the only thing that’s been updated is the animation style/ technique.

You're not wrong... though I don't get the "let's make a real person movie of this Anime" but I only ever really watched Sailor Moon and just know some stuff, e.g. One Piece, Death Note, Black Butler, because my younger sister loves animes.

I don’t mind anime reboots when the original anime was different from the manga since they were running at the same time and animes always seem to come out at a faster pace.

Like Full metal alchemist was redone to be closer to the manga and it was amazing. Naoko signed off on Sailor Moon Crystal to get a series closer to her manga but it just did not come together as it should have.

Like Cosmos is actually mostly content that was never in Stars because the anime was a completely different story than the manga at that point.

I see where you’re coming from and I agree. If the anime is trying to keep pace with the manga, because they’re both in production at the same time, then it is understandable

I have never liked sailor stars. Mainly because, I thought there were already enough sailor scouts.

Now when Pluto and Saturn arrived, I love that storyline; at least the anime version of it.

I do have to admit that manga is boring and I have tried so hard to get into it, but it just doesn’t do anything for me.
