They were lunatics and anyone with theater experience would have been rooting for Troy and Gabriela if they were in the movie bc we all know a Sharpay/Ryan in that sphere who thinks they are owed the part they want. Nothing wrong with a theater kid who is confident/knows they're good, but when they start getting a big head like that... They gotta go. I instantly hated her when she wrote her name in big ass letters on the audition list I'd much rather have the newbie who doesn't make everyone else's life hell during a 5 hour rehearsal than the entitled brat who thinks productions exist to make them look good on stage.

Not to mention their power play on changing Kelsi's music for their audition and being a little snotty about it. It must have been a real accomplishment for Kelsi to compose the musical and for the department stars to just look down their nose at you is so nasty. Justice for Kelsi!!

Ok, there may a case to be made for the Wicked Witch, but they do realise the plot of Wicked came much later and wasn’t her backstory in the movie Wizard of Oz? (And Wicked obviously doesn’t portray her as the villain)
