It’s wild to me how quickly things soured between Halsey and Capital. And it seemed directly tied to the pandemic

Halsey apparently ended on bad terms with her last record label because they overspent on the last album (which was a critical success but not a commercial one)… but Columbia Records is a way better label so Halsey is getting the last laugh!!! They did wonders for reviving Miley’s career they might be able to do something for Halsey too.

it's astonishing to me how little press it got. it was fucking amazing. best work of her career, and outside of PHM, my favorite thing trent's ever done.
