This show was not good and I regret that I watched a few episodes. The last episode supposedly full on shows the murder in a very violent and graphic way. The whole thing is gross and Elizabeth's comments throughout have been genuinely baffling. I get that she's an actress and needs to try to ~understand the person she's playing, but be a decent human being and fucking read the room.

I watched because my mom was watching and the final episode was the most disgusting out of a truly gross series. They showed the murder in graphic detail, make sure to show the testimonies of people saying how unlikeable* Betty was (she suffered from severe depression, btw), then treated the end as some triumphant bullshit with her ~checking in on Betty's husband before driving off. We couldn't believe what we were watching.

* They funnily enough don't show Candy’s other friend Sherry standing by her until Sherry finds out during the trial that Candy fucked HER husband too.

When she came on the scene for Marvel, I first felt bad for singing this song as a kid. But now?

*horribly dances to this song*

Dead at "go home, ET."
Elizabeth got lucky anyway, she was able to have a childhood and then choose a career as a grown up.

She really seems to be impressed by the not giving interviews thing, it's the second time she mentions this. Maybe she's jealous or something. But murderers are not like celebs: they do not give interviews, either because they know that they won't come out of it looking good, or sometimes because they can be, you know, actually remorseful. In any case... it's not THAT weird or admirable that she refuses to be interviewed.

they also don't want to accidentally admit something that could get them back in court

Hitting someone with an axe 41 times is the definition of overkill and just not something you do in self-defense.
