i think Halsey said something about this, that music is made for tiktok rather than actual listening. which is just a sign of the times? like 70's/80's tracks were 3 mins of lyrics and 6 mins of instrumental because they were made for discos. now social media is the #1 avenue for music consumption so the best bit of the music needs to fit into a reel.

Janelle is playing my least favorite venue in Seattle, but I'd really love to see her again because she puts on a fantastic show. 😫

If you've never seen her in concert and Seattle is your only option, I would go. Honestly, her shows are so high energy and she really seems to enjoy herself when she's performing.

If I didn't already have Bumbershoot tickets, I would have driven down to Portland to see her there. :(
