"Ahsoka" Premieres August 23

Lucasfilm dropped a short teaser to announce that the Ahsoka series will premiere August 23 on Disney+.

The teaser includes a mix of footage from the first trailer and a couple of new shots.

I think the closeness in Ahsoka and Ashoka is in on purpose. In the animated series, her mom was called Pav-ti and dad was Nak-il which is very similar to the Indian names Parvati an Nikhil. There were a lot of Indian cultural aspects included in her background episode.

I wasn't interested in this but knowing it's one of Ray Stevenson's last roles has me wanting to. ;__; he would have been so fun doing Star Wars promo tbh I am still heartbroken

he got a lot of love at celebration last month and i'm glad he could experience that at least, but it's so sad. entertainment weekly released a podcast episode they recorded with him at that time and i haven't been able to listen to it yet because it seems like he was so excited to share this with people.

I'm sure he'll be excellent. He elevated everything he was in. Even season 7 of Dexter was tolerable because he was so sublime, and by then that show was practically unwatchable
