I honestly thought they had a lot of chemistry and potential as two leads in the first season. I still can't believe how much they ruined the show and so quickly. Like, open racism+completely and utterly missing what made the show popular in the first place.

I was actually shocked to read that they didn’t get along because I’m with you, they had amazing chemistry in the show. That’s a testament to their acting, I suppose.

The rest, unfortunately, is unsurprising, I remember just how messy shit got when season two premiered and the onscreen/offscreen treatment of Nicole Beharie came to light. The show had so much potential and it was wasted by these racists egotistical assholes.

Especially after they both got extremely ill…
I’m starting to think mo’s book is a big sensationalist.

I'm sending this book out to circulation today and flipped through it and I went from never heard of it to badly wanting to read it. I think we have the only copy in the consortium and there are 4 holds on it.

I remember Orlando Jones talking about American Gods on tumblr when shit was going down. He doesn't hold back.

I thought the main leads got along...? Oops at me. Now I want to hear John Cho's experience since he wad also on the show. Honestly this show ended at 1 season was a right choice.
