I mean I absolutely think it's ridiculous how women are judged for not having kids as someone who doesn't want them, but I was never under the impression that's why Tara Reid's Hollywood career was impacted.

I'll always have a soft spot for her as i love Josie & The Pussycats. She dated that trash man Carson Daly as well. I feel like some people are misreading her point about not having kids. Yes, there are many successful women in Hollywood who don't have children, but she's coming from the early 2000's party girl persona. She's basically saying she grew up and matured, but because she didn't have children, no one believes she's changed so they don't want to give her a chance. She was actually a decent actress in the late 90's. She became a mess with drugs/alcohol. Hoping she can get a small role in an ensemble type show to prove herself again. I don't think Sharknado is really challenging her skills as an actress.

agreed, and it's why i'm so irked with these apathetic comments. forgive me if she's said problematic shit or is an awful person, i haven't heard anything personally, but tara reid is a perfect example of a woman who came on the scene and was fucking everywhere, lost herself in the sauce, and had no one to help her get out of her own way. it's pretty sad how she was treated like a joke bc of obvious issues and then botched surgery.

If she had children nothing would change. She's still a mess physically and can barely emote or act.

Not that she actually had a real ‘career’ but look at Paris Hilton. Her image lately is now seen in a ‘new light’ now that she’s a mom. Especially now that she’s mentioned all the abuse she’s suffered from that school/ ex- boyfriends (esp. in the Me too era).

Same thing with Lilo to a certain extent now that she’s married/ pregnant. She’s still getting random work now and then. But it’s not as well known about her “yachting” days though. I wonder when she stopped before meeting her husband… B/c after her mtv show (even before) her whole lifestyle got sketchy for awhile. Living in Dubai with questionable income….
