mte. 30 years is NOTHING. Even if we assume it's only these two women who he absued, he's getting jailed for an average of 15 years per rape victim. These women are traumatized for life and will have to spend the rest of their lives navigating that burden while he can still get a lesser sentence for "good behaviour" some time down the line and walk out like his slate is cleaned.

I would feel bad for her, especially considering the (still very unclear??) stuff with her dad...if she hadn't joined him in mocking the victims, among other heinous shit in her past. The sounds like 'I can't believe being in a powerful cult doesn't mean we get to avoid consequences forever' kind of tears.
