This is honestly one of my top 5 Boardwalk scenes, it lives rent-free in my head. Such a good physical performance, I love how he uses his body in it, lurching around lmao

He’s a good actor, but I feel he needs to sometimes be curbed by directors, otherwise you get some pretty bad scenery chewing like in Man of Steel and the Shape of Water (where I felt they allowed his character to hijack the whole plot)

I found him so entertaining in Man of Steel because the rest were wooden. Henry Cavill has the charisma of wet cardboard and idk what happened to Amy Adams but maybe she wasn't given enough to work with.

I love him. His performances in all of Jeff Nichols' movies are really incredible. LOVED him in Knives Out too.

I hate being late to things, so his story about trying to make it to his meeting with Scorsese is giving me second hand anxiety lol

eta: omg him tearing up while he talks about Take Shelter 💕
