i was visiting a friend so i couldn't join, but THIS is a watch party worth movie! campy magnificence!

You guys, when the movie finished I said I was going to watch hockey OT but 30 seconds later the Hurricanes lost and now I'm sad LMAO. We needed 2 more hours of Jupiter Ascending. I'm sure the Wachowskis had enough material to film 2 more hours of ~that~.

Seeing this in theaters was a life changing experience. I will legit never forget the "I CREATE LIFE...... and I destroy it" moment because it was at that exact moment that I finally lost it, and all the monumental, beautiful absurdity of the film that had been building under my skin burst open, and I laughed so hard I cried.

I love this movie. I used to have the Tonner "wedding" Jupiter doll but I sold it because it annoyed me that it wasn't movie accurate.

like I put "I CREATE LIFE... and I destroy it" up there with "Look at me... LOOK. AT. ME" from The Dark Knight and "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" from Rise of Planet of the Apes movie theater experiences.
