Ok but...

[Spoiler (click to open)]the javi death scene was super fucked up. like all he was doing was trying to help nat, and drowned for it. i mean i'm glad it's him over nat, but damn he didn't deserve to go like that. and while i will get it here, travis is about to be mad at nat for the 1,000th time since the show began.

[Spoiler (click to open)]It's sad because she lied to Travis about finding Javi dead and then Javi died trying to save her.

And Travis will feel guilty about him and Javi trying to save Nat, only for one of them to still die.

I can't help but think Travis resented Nat for Javi after they were rescued. I think it's one reason for their toxic relationship in addition to the trauma bonding.

I suspect that [Spoiler (click to open)]as the hunt ritual evolves, antler queen becomes one of the roles that they assign via picking cards.

ETA: I wanna expand a bit more on why I think this is. I think a big part of the uh... justification for the survivors actions is the Wilderness, right? So like the Wilderness "chooses" who will die. And that absolves them of responsibility for their actions. So I think that by changing who the antler queen is (who is probably meant to be like a physical conduit of the Wilderness), they all take a little bit of the responsibility and therefore no single one of them is fully responsibly. They just draw cards to see who will be the physical embodiment of the Wilderness for that hunt.

This show does not need 5 seasons. It's only the second season and it's already losing me.

I agree that the show seems to be stalling itself to fill out 5 seasons. The teen line has been really good, but the adult line seems off. It feels like one person wrote the teen line, and an half developed AI wrote the adult line.
