I hate that I'm so negative because my first thought was: did they come together and say "Let's use this to get attention" or did they really think they were doing something nice? tbf my second thought was who is checking for them in 2023? and my 3rd was ...is my dislike for them irrational?

I think it's good that bands are doing performances like this because it's giving the strike more media attention, which it needs. I really hope they keep it up because I think this is gonna go on for a while. :/

I’m glad the wga is getting all the support they are. It’s been so long since the last strike, so I don’t remember if so many people showed up for them last time. I saw a video on twt from an actress I follow talking about how sag may end up striking. She was encouraging others to vote yes on allowing their reps to call for a strike of an issue comes up. It was very much, the wga are standing up for their rights, don’t think we shouldn’t be able to stand up for what we deserve.
