Fuuuuuuck meeeee, they’re doing it and I’m mad about it but they’re bringing me around to Nate’s redemption. I’m not there yet but I like where it’s going.

The more I think about this season the more I really like it (except for the whole Jack thing - that sucked donkey balls).

I keep seeing a lot of people complaining about this season going nowhere and having no point and I don't really agree. The theme for the season seems to be about growth and getting out of your own way - and the show isn't subtle, didn't Rebecca literally say that to either Ted or Roy? And also they don't need outside elements to succeed and grow - Shandy was there to show that Keeley was actually good at her job and knew what she was doing, Zava was there to show that they didn't need an outside superstar, they just had to nurture the budding superstar in their own ranks (Jamie), Roy learned to get over his shit and not let it sabotage a relationship he wants, Colin learned that he can be himself and his team will support him, Ted is learning to move on from his marriage, Rebecca got over her need to beat Rupert, Nate is realising how he let his bitterness and resentment lose him a lot of good things - respect from the Richmond team, friendship and mentorship from Ted, etc, but he's also clearly carrying a lot of his feelings from

Totally agree. I'm reading through the reactions every week like "huh????" because ppl complain about everything while I'm watching like "Oh these very clear story threads are now coming together nicely!" It still feels like the same show to me so I'm really not getting the issue.

What's bizarre to me is to keep them apart for almost the whole season, only to then just have them f*ck and make up two episodes from the end. Like either do a big romcom finale or don't?

Right. Like I would've been fine with an ending where Keeley basically "chooses herself" because Roy has f*cked up, and that's okay. Relationships end. But instead they seem to have set up a whole thing of, "Keeley and Roy need to both find an inner confidence and sense of self, outside of a relationship" and then went, "Actually lol nah". But with no romantic payoff either. Very odd!

Good ep overall I thought! I love Sam Richardson and we probably are still supposed to find Edwin at least a bit funny but fuck he is so so awful to Sam I wasn’t into him as much this ep as I was his first appearance

I really think we deserved to see more about Jamie's call up for England, but it was also very sweet of him to wear Sam's number. But I'm bummed that's all we saw. The things this show devotes time to and what it doesn't...
