Channel 4 recently commissioned a new series called Junior Taskmaster, essentially Taskmaster with regular kids as contestants.

I initially had no plans to watch this because I don't care to watch kids try to do tasks but bring on Rose as Taskmaster and Mike as Taskmaster's assistant??? hmmmmmmmmmmm

100% agree - my limit with kids is short clips of Master Chef Junior - but those limits are being seriously tested with this because I loved Rose and Mike on Taskmaster

Same. Whether I was going to give it a chance was very dependent on the hosts but I think they nailed it.

Yup, I typically avoid any "Junior" shows because I've found the little I've seen to be obnoxious, but this casting is fantastic, especially Mike as the Taskmaster's Assistant.

Hope it’s a good time for whoever watches. I’m in it to see the adults (esp the more famous ones) look like complete dummies. This is one show that I have to pause sometimes because I’m just laughing too damn much.

i didn't think i'd check this out but these two are great picks for this. i can see rose getting just the right balance of laying down the law as taskmaster but not to the point of scaring children lol, and wozniak as the assistant is a perfect choice.

This season of Taskmaster has kind of killed my love of the show.

IDK I think it's the culmination of something I've noticed for awhile: it's boring to watch people who are fans of the show ON the show. Also the tasks are getting boring. I hate all the acting challenge ones or the ones where their are hints that a contestant can find to win.

The idea of Junior Taskmaster sounds awful to me tbh. Part of the charm is Greg is sometimes an arbitrary asshole and I just don't think you can do that with kids. Also the type of people who will let their kids do this are probably stage parents who are obsessed with the show so again, it's going to be people finding clues.

yeah, this season is really boring me. I don’t find any of them particularly interesting. I was looking forward to Frankie but he’s mellowed out a bunch (which, good!) and gets muddled in with the rest.

OMG this so much. I was hoping Frankie would be so much more indignant about things, but he has been very blasé.
