at this point I feel like they're so heavily implying that Coach Ben dies (and gets eaten) that I feel like he probably made it out alive and we'll see him in present day, maybe in the finale? that would be such a twist, idk. He's starving to death at a faster pace considering he didn't eat Jackie, his leg must still be healing... his delusions are not a great sign, but the fact that he didn't jump at the poop cliff, I don't know, something's gotta come from that.

i think coach ben's delusions are him slipping into the in-between (the same place shauna, lottie and jackie been to) since he is starving more than the others.

I'm wondering Coach makes a bounce back after this episode. I think after Laura Lee, Jackie, and the baby he felt like he had no place or purpose in the group but after Misty's breakdown he recommits to caring for the team and seeing it through.

I think he's either the last survivor or his death is being put off to be either especially tragic, violent, pointless or all three.
