this was weirdly a comfort show of mine, but i have not been motivated to watch since they shoehorned stabler back in there. should've just let olivia thrive on her own and mentor her true successor in spirit, kat.

Same. I'd been rapidly losing enthusiasm for the show since they brought back un-Stabler and nixed Kat and Chief Garland, and I've been completely out since Julie Martin shoehorned in the picket fence shit between Carisi and Rollins the minute Kelli Giddish's exit was announced. It's all just so boring and trite, and the show isn't even recognizable anymore.

I might hate-watch the finale. Maybe.

👀 if benson gets shot. I would like them to move forward with benson/stabler because i'm sick of the will they/won't they but I can't see them doing it in the finale after the last episode.

I still watch and the last couple of seasons have been better. The show runner changed so I think that’s the reason.

I didn’t mind Rollins because I always blamed the writers and then when the show runner changed her character was handled better. Then she was treated so poorly irl by being fired only for them to hire a younger cheaper actress who had to color her hair darker because she looked similar to Kelly. Mess.

Anyway it’s less weird Noah storylines and a tighter script. Stabler is ok now. On SVU and OC his character has been toned down from like it was in the early SVU seasons. His character only shows up on SVU on occasion but they know they’re making the stans mad by teasing a kiss only for it to not happen lol.

The only thing that remains weird is that Benson who is a Captain is still doing detective work which isn’t normal but it’s her show and so whatever. Oh. And Carisi isn’t great as the DA. They should just bring him back to being defective and have someone else be DA.

I agree about Rollins being so much better now. I kind of wish they kept her on (even though I didn't like her prior to this season) because the new characters are just sooo boring and the actors cannot act except the lady who plays Churlish.

Ok I’m glad I’m not the only one lol. It’s like as soon as he moved over to the attorney side, he lost all of his charm and became super serious.

Character development is great of course, but I don’t think that’s what happened imo.
