While I am surprised that Disney hasnt had interest in an Aladdin sequel since it had the most decent sequels out of all Disney movies...going after TLM is not the way to go.

Now we're all talking about it, it's occurred to me the live action remakes that have had or are getting sequels have (thus far) been for animated movies that didn't have a sequel.

- Sleeping Beauty had no sequel
- Alice In Wonderland had no sequel
- The animated 101 Dalmatians didn't get a sequel until 3 years after the live action movie did
- Lion King does have a sequel, but I'm not sure the live action is actually following that story

Which I have to wonder if that's a coincidence and more an interplay of box office vs critical reception of the various lives, or if it's specifically a reluctance to tackle the existing sequels because they were straight-to-video crap lol
