I loved that scene so much, and getting a glimpse into Misty’s mind.

Spoiling just in case [Spoiler (click to open)] we better see Walter again. Because he and Misty need to be partners in crime (solving?)

I’m surprised they just let Shauna beat the crap out of Lottie. Were they too scared to intervene? I expected Nat to put a stop to it at the very least.

I’m not sure where the adult storyline is going, it seems like stuff is happening, but nothing is happening at the same time, I hope that makes sense. Poor Van, survives so much shit, only to get terminal cancer. Hopefully they tie up the Adam line soon, and they didn’t write themselves into a corner. Shauna belongs in jail, obviously, but I hope the writers can get her to wiggle out of her legal troubles in a creative way.

Young Shauna is just breaking my heart, poor thing.

Re. Shauna and Lottie, I actually think no one stopped it because it was Lottie's idea. They do what she says, even when it's obviously insane.

And the adult storyline, it spun me out when Nat said the motel room was only a week ago. It's taking so looong, and idc about Adam/the cops.

I feel like this is because the adult timeline is literally only a week so far. The first season adult timeline was about 2.5 months. The teens timeline is going much faster so the writers don't need any filler. I think the writers should have left out all the cop stuff until season 3. Especially how quickly they reported an adult man missing to finding his torso. In reality, cops aren't going to be on that case for months, sometimes years. The adult timeline for this season should have just been them coming together at the compound

I'm hoping Van's theme of escaping death will continue in the adult timeline and the ~wilderness~ or Tai's connections can cure her.

ITA that Adam’s story could have waited. I didn’t realize it was only a week in the adult line. In a week, Adam’s disappearance would have just gotten to the news. The Kevyn and undercover guy investigation seems more far fetched than it already is, given that it’s only been a week.

OP you're so nice to put this behind a spoiler! While i watch the new episodes Friday morning, a lot of folks don't have access to them until Sunday night. Kind of shitty for EW to release this before everyone gets a chance to see it.

Long live Queen Misty. She is my favorite.

I like that Lottie's therapies mostly do have positive impacts, but asking Misty to look within herself for answers is a pretty bad idea.

the murders she commits

Ma'am?

Am I not remembering murders she has committed (as an adult)?

Didn't she kill that reporter in season 1?

Oh tbh I wasn't sure if that had been confirmed.

The journalist/detective on season 1 is the one we actually saw so far. Maybe I'm remembering wrong but I think on episode 5 young Misty tells Kristal that she's a fan of that doctor (nurse?) who killed terminal patients, and I think on the pilot she threatens one of her patients, so to me the subtext there is that she has killed people before.

And lbr if Coach dies, she's probably the one who kills him lol
