OP, siblings are half-siblings. But if Mariah were to be a mother to all of the kids, she'd be a stepmom.

I can't believe interviewers expect her to have some sort of connection to an exes children that aren't hers and I'm glad she's shooting that nonsense down. That's like having your ex have a bunch of children after you get divorced and people somehow thinking that you need to be responsible for them. This isn't a stepparent situation at all; Mariah has no connection with these kids.

I can't help but think of the situation with Matthews Knowles when he wasn't paying cs to his jumpoff, she was about to be evicted, and she went to the tabloids with a plea to Beyonce with a very manipulative "Your half-sibling is going to be out on the street; I know you can help!"

Mariah has dealt with toxic family members who think that her money is their money, and when you're in a certain income bracket you have to protect yourself. It's sad, but I understand why she feels the way she does.

I know a lot of people have different views and might think it’s selfish that the twins aren’t allowed to have relationships with their half siblings but Mariah has always seemed like a great mom who is protecting and doing what’s best for her kids.

I don’t blame her for not wanting any of that mess around her or her kids.

I think the twins do have contact with their step-siblings to a certain extent, just not at Mariah‘s house. And I don’t blame her either. It’s going to get real messy in coming years

I didn’t mean not allowed I meant that Mariah probably doesn’t make an effort for them to have a relationship and I don’t blame her. I’m sure if Nick had his other kids and the twins were with him in the same place or whatever it wouldn’t be an issues with her. I just don’t see her inviting the kids or the MBs to a gathering or something but yeah I forgot that they’re mostly still baby and toddler age
