shauna really gave lottie a traumatic brain injury, jesus christ. no wonder she was institutionalized.

genuinely loved seeing the adults drinking together. i miss teen nat. where's crystal!? there was a blind about one of the actors overacting for attention and my guess was samantha hanratty. ever since then, i can't stop noticing it.

Idk their process so I genuinely can't tell if she mirrors Christina's or if it's the other way around, but I think Misty and Shauna are definitely the stronger actresses of the young group. I like Lottie a lot too, but those two absolutely shine for me, my eyes always go straight to them. I wouldn't guess Samantha for that blind tho, young!Misty seems to have more to do this season and her acting, to me, is pretty in line with the material she's given. Shame she's a Depp apologist but she's young so I hope she moves on from that bc I find her very talented.

It could totally be me not liking her because of the amber stuff she pulled and projecting that onto her character. There was a scene last episode or two episodes ago that felt like the character would only be mildly upset, but the actor was in hysterics. Im too lazy to go find the scene though 🤣 She did good with the coach ben scene so maybe im wrong.

It's a matter of preference too, I think acting can be very subjective but OMG scratch my goodwill over her being young cause she's 27 years-old, I thought she was 20 at most lol Should've known better, girl!

Ok I'm going to come in here and complain about this show so please feel free to ignore me being negative.

BUT! I've made it through season 1 and am now a couple of episodes into S2 and I just... don't like this show? It's rare for me not to like a show, especially one I've devoted this much time to but I need at least one character to root for and there's no one. Kendall I guess maybe? I like his current arc where he's going around numb and on autopilot but everything else is just terrible people being terrible in daily lives. Which I guess is the point? But further hammers home that this show is not for me.

ONTD has steered me wrong just like they did for that Dev Patel knight movie. But they also gave me Ted Lasso and Severance so I forgive you.

You obviously meant Succession so I'm replying just to agree bc the hard on for this show is OTT lol It's objectively a quality show but the script drags like a motherfucker. They did great with the casting bc only a solid A+ cast can make some of those scenes work lbr.
