Saw BlackBerry on Monday and thought it was entertaining + informative. Definitely one where you can wait for VOD or streaming, but there are some good performances in there, particularly from Jay and Glenn.

Last night we went to see GotG V3, and omg, I cried so much?!? [Spoiler (click to open)]I truly thought they were gonna kill Rocket off and was shocked when they did not, but all the scenes with him were so fucking sad, my god!! Floor! :'( It wasn't perfect, but I liked it more than any of the Marvel movies I've seen in the past couple of years, probably because there were personal stakes and actual emotional scenes. I loved how much screen time Nebula had this go-round, and was really satisfied with her overall arc. I was also [Spoiler (click to open)]happy that Star Lord and Gamora were not awkwardly forced back together - their ending was really well done. Pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this one!

I want to see The Starling Girl at some point, but we'll see - it's Zelda release weekend, so that will dominate for a while. Going to an early screening of The

Agreed doubly on your GotG thoughts. I was pretty satisfied with where everyone's stories ended ESPECIALLY your second spoiler. It was a nice finale from Gunn, and I dread anyone else picking these characters up.

I saw The Starling Girl early last week -- Eliza Scanlen is terrific, but I was a teeny bit disappointed with how familiar the story was at points. I was supposed to see Monica last night, but I've been home with COVID all week. 😢 If I test negative Friday & Saturday then I'll probs see BlackBerry at some point.

and lmao wow, I saw the trailer for Hypnotic a while back and I wasn't entirely sure it was a real movie. But allegedly it is!
