I am glad she's supporting her daughter

I listened to the QAA episodes on moms for liberty recently, and it was so fucking heartbreaking to hear one of them say they would rather have a dead kid than a trans kid. that's the reality for so many trans children, and that's why desantis's push for schools to disclose kids‘ gender identity to their parents is so scary

That might be the difference tbh. I was born ten years after my parents got married (my dad had to get treatment so my mom could get pregnant) so when I showed up I could have two heads and they'd still love me which was the best feeling to have because according to my mom, the first time she saw me I had a very weird head shape because she wasn't supposed to have a natural birth. Poor woman. LOL

I hate that we can't talk about the FACT that a very large percentage of parents do not care about their kids, never mind love them. Many actively hate their kids. But we as a society are not ready for that conversation. I had it one Christmas with some family members who admitted they were jealous I was child free by choice and wish they felt like that was an option. One was the parent of the other, and the child's 3 kids were playing feet away, it was sad but also enraging. Everyone on the side FEELS unloved because they ARE.

I have a dead kid, and a trans kid (and some more kids). I will say that I am so morbidly curious, how do they actually feel, when they get a dead kid, and if that makes them reassess their choices or not.

And like, I know I'm beating a dead horse by pointing this out, but it continues to blow my mind that these are the people who claim to promote Christian values.
