why is 90s/y2k styling in streaming shows always so 2020s? These showmakers were probably alive back then, just go through your old photos or year book.
I'm guessing they're shopping at high street stores for these looks, instead of thrift/vintage shops.
I can't even tell which years the looks are supposed to be because their hair/make up is too neat. We all wore oxidised dream matte mousse with fried hair!
we all looked so stupid to the point of distraction anyway I don't think I could take this seriously if it did, and it would not be a draw for gen z, so really what's the point? it's cheaper to just throw them in some off the rack shit from 2022 and follow a few trends. and honestly we bought the same fake glossy throwback movie and tv show fails of past generations, too. so much of what we think of as proper styles from certain eras is really costume-y and not at all correct to the time period.

i will watch. i like paul adelstein. but i doubt it will top season 1 - that was must watch television for me.
