I’m sure she did earn some ire from the Wednesday writers for talking publicly but it’s surprising that the ones taking shots are writers from other shows not associated with her. I wonder if they personally didn’t like it or are they friends with the Wednesday writers who probably trash-talked behind the scenes with their writer friends? 👀
This reminds me a little bit of when Katherine Heigl took a shot at the Greys writers during the last strike.

tbh, Katherine Heigl should have swiped harder because George and Izzie was truly one of the worst things ever written.

I still think that G/I was punishment for TR and Katherine because Shonda had to fire Isaiah. Their storylines were so bad they pushed them out.

She also worked long hours on that show and they still had her working when she was Covid positive and that’s more worthy of shit talk to me than her not liking some lines of her script

What?? Another shitty man? Which one is this now?

I know she seems overexposed at the moment, but calling her out specifically for her IMO justified criticisms read as a little racist… Like why choose to go after the young up-and-coming Latina? It doesn’t sit well with me.
This is the blurb I’m referring to - try and tell me she’s wrong lol:
“She added: “I don’t think I’ve ever had to put my foot down on a set in the way that I had to on Wednesday. Everything that she does, everything that I had to play, did not make sense for her character at all. Her being in a love triangle made no sense. There was a line about a dress that she has to wear for a school dance and she said, ‘Oh my God, I love it. Ugh, I can’t believe I said that, I literally hate myself.’ And I had to go, ‘No.'”

It's like Elizabeth's Olsen case when the writers for Doctor Strange had no idea what was happening on Wandavision.
If neither of the actresses cared about their work, they wouldn't be fighting the writers. And to that end, the director failed the hardest for not staying on top of the scripts (unless I'm wrong and it's a producer problem); the actors are not being paid to keep the scripts cohesive.
