I have no particular opinions on that subject, I guess as an actor you do always have that ambition to get recognition for your work in the form of awards (In a sense we all like getting rewarded) but you have to learn to look beyond that for moments of self recognition or other goals otherwise you will have moments like this. Also fuck people for making fun of her for being emotional. Even if she didn't deserve it she as a human is allowed to have feelings on winning.

Anyway I need to shut the fuck up because when I was a toddler I BEGGED my mother for a fox plushie that was on sale at our local market for months. I was ready to DIE for this fox, I had all kinds of dreams for our future and the adventures we would go on. Eventually she was like 'Jesus christ stfu' so she bought it for me and I swear the moment I had this thing in my hands I was like 'Ok thanks. So what now'. I had it and now it was over.

She’s not wrong cause I remember her being butt of jokes for crying her way through the speech. Her dad being sick sucks :(

Plus I remember her win has the stain of Harvey Weinstein’s infamous lobbying techniques all over it cause most people thought Cate Blanchett and Saving Private Ryan should’ve won over Shakespeare in Love wins.

Even Judi Dench winning on name recognition/makeup award is unwarranted cause she didn’t do much in those 8 minutes of screen time.

No matter what kind of opinion one has about her, that was a shitty thing to put her through. People are so needlessly cruel.
