These were the manga moments I was convinced they would cut, if they made changes anywhere, so I'm thrilled to see we're getting them

Yeeesssss at those manga moments getting animated!! It was a shame a lot of didn’t make it in the original anime.

Never completely liked the eternal outfits on the scouts. I only liked it on sailor moon.

Y'know, after SM finishes this run, I wouldn't mind for it to go the Trigun Stampede route with a retelling. I think the thing that made the original SM shine was the filler and depth to the characters interactions and dynamic. Crystal definitely felt flat without it. But then the manga is like that too. 🤐

If we get another anime they really need to give the Inners/Outers more agency instead of always being backup to Sailor Moon.

It's so funny that people on ONTD, when Crystal was announced, were like "yaaaas, no more filler!!!!"

And while I love Crystal, the fact is that the characters were allowed to BE characters in the original anime as a result of all of the filler. Yes, Naoko created templates, compelling templates, but every single one of the "main" characters who isn't a Tsukino by blood or by marriage really didn't get a lot of development in the manga.

What do you mean a Tsukino by blood or marriage? Usagi's mom/dad/brother were never a thing in the manga though?

I love them so much! Their season, in the original anime, was my favourite along with Sailor Stars

The style is just too blank and yet somehow detailed for me to deal with. I read a bit of the Deqd Moon Circus arc and that was much more interesting visually to look at.
