i do too, and i do it at least a little about everything, but for whatever reason what i always jump to is tail length. 😂 it's either "ok, you're cute, but your tail is a stub compared to my queen, Dot. try harder." or "oh shit, your tail is really long. it's ok, i won't tell Dot"

Yes! Lost my best girl/the first dog I ever got on my own almost five years ago now and have adopted two more dogs since then. I absolutely love them to death but somehow the love feels different.

Aww, rip Petunia. I feel for her. Pet loss is the worst. I’m still grieving my fur baby every single day. I had her for 18 years, she was my only dog, she was the love of my life. I’m so lost without her. 😢
