I'm not sure how I feel about the show! The book was interesting, but it was more of a thought exercise or a thesis than a novel with a coherent plot.

I was hoping the show would do something different, there, to compensate...I'm not sure they are? There are changes from the novel but I'm not convinced it won't fail in the same way in terms of plot and character motivations. I guess we'll see if they get a second season.

I really like Jos's love interest, though I'm scared for him. All of the acting has been quite good, across the board, especially some of the younger/newer actors I don't know from other projects.

Well I'm having a great time watching it. It doesn't see. Like they can fit the whole book in the remaining episodes and I doubt there'll be a second season so
