anyway idk. I will watch it probably but I'm not champing at the bit. S2 was pretty torturous after I watched S1 over and over and over again. I hope they tone down the Jaskier, it was too much in S2. I like Joey Batey better making music. I hope they actually develop the so-called "found family" that they expect us to buy into. This show is a prime example of the problem with shortened television series: 8 episodes means there is like no time for developing good solid characterization and the writers have made no effort to do so. this show wants to tell us how things are without showing us how it got there.

I spent so much of S2 waiting for Jaskier to come back and then the rest of it wishing he'd go back to wherever he came from. then they turned Yen into a sociopath.

... somehow I'll still probably watch this season.

all of Jaskier's S2 content felt like stupid fanservice and they went too far with the fourth wall winking, it was obnoxious.

Yennefer's plot in S2 was atrocious from beginning to end, it was painful to watch Anya struggle to make lemonade out of that garabge

100%, Jaskier was a fan favourite and then to reward the fans they drove him into the ground. with Yen, I'm glad they stopped making her take her top off every episode but that's about the only thing I'm thankful for. everything about this show is a hot mess. can't believe Netflix got its hands on a potential big franchise and blew it this quickly.

Season 4 is not filming, many contracts haven't been renewed, and given how the news of Cavil leaving was received (50% are watching for him) + how the prequel flopped, I doubt Netflix is throwing money in this

v happy to see they've continued to keep the good Geralt wig. Very unhappy to see Jaskier's hair is still yikes. Sad that Yen is now wearing a wig :(

There's only a split second glance of him at 0:33 (right after the guy stepping through the fiery doorway) but you basically have to slow the video down to 0.25 speed to actually see him.
